BENEFIT UPDATE

Jessica is home after successful surgery. And now enjoying a diet of water and popsicles.

On Sunday April 6 there will be shuttle service to the Legion due to limited parking.
They will be running from 11 am until 8 from the old Maples Diner on Route 20, the Sangerfield Town Barn, The Sangerfield Post Office. When those lots fill, you may use the IL Richer lot.

The Chicken Barbeque will begin at noon. The cost is $8.00. The Benefit will begin at 2 pm. The cost is $15.00. Advance sale tickets are available at the Legion as well as from committee members. We have received some fantastic donations for the Chinese auction and the Raffle.If you would like to make a donation you may drop it off at the Legion. We would like to have everything ready to go Saturday night.

Our Heart Walk Team has won a $200.00 pizza party from

O'Scugnizzo's Pizzeria. The contest was sponsored by WKTV

and the winner was announced last night.

The Sons of the American Legion put on an excellent

corned beef and cabbage dinner tonight. All

the "chefs" deserve a pat on the back.

Thank you for your support. Come back

again next year.

The basket of cheer was won by Barb Atkyns.

The men are taking over the kitchen for the day.

Come join us for a great meal. Don't forget to get your

tickets for the basket of "Irish Cheer".

at the bar or from SAL members.

What a great result!!! Our team came home soaked and cold

with big smiles and lots of laughter. They're looking forward

to doing it again next year.

She is currently in Boston and will have surgery in

the coming weeks for stomach cancer.

Finally, a decent snowfall brought out the snowmobiles. The

kitchen was taken over by the Sons on Saturday. They were

cooking up a storm of their own feeding snowmobilers.
